Meet the family behind the magic

If you're reading this, welcome! We're Jeff and Cassie, and this is Mouse28, our little corner of the internet where we share everything we've learned from over a decade of living, breathing, and obsessing over the Disney parks.

But before we get into park tips and restaurant reviews, we figured you should know who we are and how we ended up here.

Growing Up Disney

We both grew up on Disney. Cassie spent childhood trips exploring the parks and was raised on the classic films and cartoons that made Disney what it is. Jeff had a similar story. Not only did he grow up watching everything Disney, but he got to experience it all over again through his younger sister's eyes, which gave him a whole different appreciation for the magic.

Where It All Started

After we'd been together for a while, we planned our first Disney trip as a couple. That trip changed everything. Something about experiencing the parks together, the food, the rides, the little moments, turned a vacation into an obsession.

It was on our one-year anniversary that Jeff proposed to Cassie at dinner inside Cinderella's Royal Table. Two years later, we went back to where it all started and spent our honeymoon at Walt Disney World. At that point, the decision practically made itself: we moved to Florida.

That was over ten years ago. We've been Florida resident passholders ever since, spending more time in the parks than we can count.

Then Came Viola

When our daughter Viola was born, we started her Disney journey early. Quick evening trips to the parks when she was still a newborn, building traditions that continue to this day. When Viola was diagnosed with autism at five, it changed how we navigate the parks. We learned new strategies, discovered tools and services we didn't know existed, and completely rethought what a "good park day" looks like for our family.

But watching her light up, smile, and laugh her way through the parks? That makes every bit of planning worth it.

So, Why Mouse28?

All of those experiences, the proposals, the moves, the park hacks, the meltdowns in the middle of Fantasyland, the quiet fireworks moments, led us here. Mouse28 is where we share our honest experiences, tips, and reviews. Restaurant reviews from people who've eaten at most of them. Tips on navigating the parks, especially with accessibility in mind. Even a few thoughts on those other Florida parks.

We'll keep up with the Disney news so you don't have to. And hopefully, we'll help you make a few more magical memories along the way.
